C5 Fleet-Friendly Improvements

C5 VTR

With immediate effect Citroen’s popular C5 VTR range has been greatly expanded, while both this trim level and the C5 Exclusive now also benefit from the addition of a six speed manual gearbox on certain models. As a result both the competitively priced C5 VTR and C5 Exclusive are even better value and even better suited for their fleet roles.

At no extra cost, all manual transmission C5 hatchback and estate cars with the 2.2HDi engine gain a new six speed gearbox. The new gearbox results in a slight reduction in CO2 emissions to 167g/100km(hatchback) and 169g/100km(estate) as well as improved fuel consumption. The 2.2HDi six speed manual hatchback has an excellent combined fuel consumption figure of 44.8mpg (6.3l/100km) and the estate an equally impressive 44.1mpg (6.4l/100km).

In addition, to provide a more purposeful and sporty looking stance, all C5 Exclusive models benefit from larger alloy wheels. Wheel size has increased from 15in alloys to 16in Hungaro alloy wheels.

Following the launch earlier this year of five C5 VTR models, Citroen has now expanded this sporty-looking trim level to include 2.0i 16V petrol engined and 2.2HDi diesel powered models. With these new engine options the initial range has been expanded to include no less than 11, high value C5 VTR models, available in both 5 door hatchback and estate forms, with a choice, dependent on model, of manual or sequential, auto-adaptive, automatic gearboxes. All C5 VTR models benefit from a unique sports-look exterior /interior package that includes:-

  • Hungaro 16in alloy wheels
  • Sports-look blue/grey interior trim and blue seat belts
  • Leather steering wheel
  • Carbon fibre effect central console & front/rear door panel inserts
  • Anti-theft alarm & rear wash/wipe
