Citroen C4

The family car market is set for a breath of fresh air with the imminent arrival of the new Citroen C4, most models of which will come with their own in-built air freshener. The exciting new model is set to go on sale in the UK on 15th November.

C4 customers can simply choose from one of nine different fragrances (including scents such as Citrus & Passion, Ylang & Mimosa and Lotus Flower) which reflect three different moods: Relax, Escape and Energise.

The scent cartridges, which simply slot into the dashboard, are manufactured by long-established French perfume company, Robertet, and can last around two months. Replacement cartridges will be available from Citroen franchised dealers at a cost of around £7 for a box of two. The box even features a "scratch ’n sniff" panel on the outside, allowing buyers to get an idea of their chosen scent.

Alongside the integrated air freshener, the new C4 will bring numerous other innovations to the class, including a multi-functional fixed centered controls steering wheel, a unique translucent instrument display, a speed limiter, laminated glass side windows, a Lane Departure Warning System as well as directional Xenon headlamps.

Set to shake the market up with its mould-breaking styling, the new C4 boasts high levels of advanced technology and equipment and a wide range of powerplants. The two very different bodystyles - curvy five-door hatchback and dynamic three-door coupe - will allow the new C4 to appeal to a wide range of buyers with very different requirements.
