Citroen C3 - Insuring More Appeal

Published: 4th September 2002
Citroen is extending the appeal of the C3 range by offering free insurance on many models and by introducing a new entry level model with a new engine - the C3 1.1i L.

The one year’s free insurance offer is applicable throughout September on all 1.4i and 1.6i 16V petrol C3 models as well as the 1.4 HDi LX, and is available to private buyers aged between 21 and 80.

Extending the range, the new C3 1.1i L is available at just £7995, including a £500 cashback offer that runs until the end of September. The new model boasts variable electric power steering, driver, passenger and side airbags and remote locking.

The new C3 1.1i L has a perky 60HP petrol engine, with low CO2 emissions of just 143 g/km, which can take the C3 to almost 100 mph, passing the 62 mph mark in under 16 seconds.

At the same time, the new addition to the range can stretch a gallon of fuel as far as 56 miles on the extra urban cycle and 47 miles in everyday driving. Also helping to keep motoring costs down, the C3 1.1i L boasts a low Group 2 Insurance Rating.
