Citroen Adds New VTR Models To C5 Range

Citroen has now expanded its C5 range by introducing five stylish new VTR models, which are designed to appeal to younger buyers and company car drivers looking for space, comfort and high levels of equipment allied to a dynamic and sporty look.

The new C5 VTRs come with striking 16" alloys, whilst the sporty interior look includes ‘carbon-fibre effect’ inserts around the centre console and doors, an eye-catching dark blue/grey upholstery with matching seat belts and a leather steering wheel. All models also feature an anti-theft alarm and rear wash/wipe.

And all VTR saloons registered before 31st March will be fitted with a ‘VTR sports pack’, normally a £400 option, which adds a sporty lower front mesh grille and rear spoiler. This complements a list of standard equipment that already includes ABS with EBA and EBD, six airbags, air conditioning and electric windows.

Brimming with clever technology, the VTR also gives drivers the benefit of automatic wipers and headlamps, speed sensitive stereo volume and automatic boot locking, as well as Citroen’s computer-controlled Hydractive 3 suspension that is not only self levelling but also lowers the vehicle at motorway speeds for improved aerodynamics.

The five model C5 VTR range includes 1.8i 16V petrol and 2.0HDi 110hp diesel versions, saloon or estate models and manual or automatic gearboxes. Any VTR registered before the end of March will also come with £2,000 cashback, meaning that the new VTR range starts at just £13,495 for the 117hp 1.8i 16V petrol version.
