choice of two body colours Polar White or Thorium Gre
Citroen have announced to today that they are adding the DS3 Ultra Prestige to their UK line-up, prices start from £20,700.
The Citroen DS3 Ultra Prestige can be powered by either a 155 hp petrol engine or 110 hp diesel with stop/start technology, both are coupled to a 6-speed manual gearbox. According to Citroen the diesel is capable of 74.4 mpg on the combined cycle and CO2 emissions are just 99 g/km. Which means that the diesel Citroen DS3 Ultra Prestige is exempt from VED (Car Tax) and can venture into the London Conjestion Zone for free.
The DS3 Ultra Prestige is available with a choice of two body colours Polar White or Thorium Grey, either of which matches the dashboard strip which is covered in ‘Alpine’ white leather, embossed with the DS signature. The front leather seats gradually change from white at the top of the seat back to black on the seat base. The colour of the dials also matches the white of the interior detailing. There are ultra-thick protective mats, braided with double top-stitching in contrasting colours. As an extra touch of luxury, leather trim is also fitted to the door panels and central armrest.
Outside there are dark-tinted side and rear windows and 17” charcoal-grey alloy wheels. The ‘Ultra Prestige’ graphic that covers the model’s black roof with the DS insignia, provides a range of subtle contrasts, shifting from matt to gloss as the light changes. There is also a ‘Dark Chrome Signature’ option, including black door mirrors with dark chrome base, dark chrome side rubbing strips, front grille surround, front fog light surrounds and an insert on the rear number plate moulding.
The equipment spec is based on the DS3 DSport and adds Citroen’s integrated MyWay colour satellite navigation system, rear parking sensors, automatic headlamps and windscreen wipers, electrically heated and folding door mirrors and an electrochrome rear view mirror.Published 18 January 2012
