John Leslie Collects His Citroen DS3 Racing

The first of the 200 special edition Citroen DS3 Racing models destined for the UK has been delivered to its new owner.

John Leslie visited Worleys Citroen in High Wycombe last week to collect his 207hp Citroen Racing-developed DS3 from Sales Executive, Keith Cullen.

With just 2,000 available worldwide, Citroen DS3 Racing ownership is an exclusive proposition and John is the first of a select group of UK owners. Already a popular addition to the Citroen range, customers placing an order for a Citroen DS3 Racing March 2011 will join a waiting list of approximately six months before taking delivery of their car.

John commented; "I was looking for a car that mixed rally-bred performance and handling with a good helping of style and quality, and the DS3 Racing easily stood out. The added every-day practicality was a real bonus."

Developed by Citroen Racing - the winning team behind six WRC Manufacturer's titles and seven Driver's titles for Sebastien Loeb and co-driver Daniel Elena - the special edition Citroen DS3 Racing combines an impeccable sporting pedigree with bold styling, racing inspired design, an uncompromising choice of premium materials and an extensive equipment specification.

Based on the DSport THP 150 model, Citroen DS3 Racing is significantly better equipped than many of its competitors and is a driver's car that doesn't compromise on comfort or convenient technology. Effortless to live with, the model delivers power (207hp) and performance (0-62mph in 6.5secs) with efficiency (44.1mpg combined cycle fuel economy) and environmental consideration (149g/km CO2).
