A high fashion version of Citroen DS3, decked out in the colours and brand image of YSL, transported fashion and film stars to the Yves Saint Laurent retrospective at the Petit Palais in Paris on Wednesday 10th March 2010.
Organised by the Pierre Berge-Yves Saint Laurent Foundation, the exhibition features more than 300 pieces from the designer's collection. Presented in their historical and cultural context, they create a panoramic vision of the illustrious fashion figure's body of work, from his Dior debut in 1958 to retirement in 2002. The public also get a first look at the entire series of photographs of Yves Saint Laurent taken by Jean-Loup Sieff in 1971.
Embodying radical styling and distinctive luxury, the Citroen DS3 is perfectly suited to the Yves Saint Laurent label, whose designer, with his elegant and anti-conformist aesthetic, revolutionised the female fashion world.Published 18 March 2010
