The dynamic Citroen C5 Tourer saw off 30 contenders to take top spot in the 'Best Estate Car' category, particularly impressing the award judges with its good economy, excellent refinement and great ride quality. What Diesel commented; "The C5 Tourer is a quantum leap forward from its predecessor, and recalibrates what to expect from an elongated hatchback load-carrier."
With a choice of four efficient HDi diesel engines, the Citroen C5 Tourer lets drivers choose their ideal mix of performance and long-distance fuel economy - the 1.6HDi unit offers 53.3mpg on the combined cycle whilst the 2.7HDi V6 model boasts a 0-62mph time of just 8.9seconds. Every HDi unit is also fitted with Citroen's Diesel Particulate Filter System (DPFS), which virtually eliminates particle emissions.
