Dealers Give Citroen's C4 The Thumbs-Up

Achieving second-hand values of up to 128% of the price indicated by CAP, one of the country’s leading residual value experts, Citroen’s stylish and innovative new C4 has been given a firm thumbs-up by dealers in the UK’s first auction of used C4s.
Each of the 28 available C4 models, including both 5-door hatchback and 3-door coupé versions, sold at rates well above the CAP Monitor value, achieving an overall average of 110%*, with the top performer of the day being a 5-door 2.0 HDi VTR+.
The electronic on-line auction, which was open to Approved Used Citroen dealers, proved that dealer confidence in this used car market debutant is exceptionally high. This will help to reinforce the C4’s position as a leading contender in the M1 sector, with CAP already predicting strong residual values in line with those of its key rivals.
Citroen’s new C4 has already enjoyed an award-winning start to its UK life thanks to its eye-catching good looks, a superb range of safety features that have helped it obtain a Euro NCAP 5-star rating, and its use of innovative technology, such as a fixed hub steering wheel, built-in air freshener and Lane Departure Warning System to help prevent drivers from falling asleep at the wheel.
