The Citroen C3 Picasso Named Best MPV

The Citroen C3 Picasso
The brand new Citroen C3 Picasso has been named 'Best MPV' at the 2009 What Diesel Car of the Year awards.
This is already the second award for Citroen's 'Spacebox' C3 Picasso before it has even gone on sale in the UK - it triumphed over 46 competitors, including its 'big brother' stable mate, the Grand C4 Picasso, which was runner-up. The mini-MPV bowled over the judging panel, as What Diesel's Editor Ian Robertson remarked, "It's a really likeable drive, pert and perky with a choice of 1.6-litre HDi engines and sensibly priced." The Citroen C3 Picasso's 1.6HDi unit which is offered in 90hp or 110hp versions, delivers up to 60.1mpg combined cycle fuel economy and CO2 emissions of as little as 125g/km.
