Citroen C3 Kiwi special edition

Citroen has announced the arrival of a juicy new ‘Kiwi’ special edition of its versatile, convertible supermini, the C3 Pluriel – and this is one model that really stands out from the crowd, with its eye-catching exterior and interior colour schemes.

The stylish new Kiwi model comes in a unique, eye-catching yellow/green metallic body colour and features alloy wheels and a luxurious all-black leather upholstery, with leather finish to the door handles and steering wheel. The fitment of air-conditioning ensures that it is a uniquely pleasurable car to be in, whatever the weather.

At the same time Citroen has added a number of style upgrades, at no extra cost, to the funky C3 Pluriel Cote d’Azur.  There are two body colours (Pearlescent Black and Ivory), newbody-coloured bumper inserts, rubbing strips and door handles, as well as enhancements to the interior trim that include ivory coloured seat-backs and a translucent ruby gear knob.

Given the UK’s diverse weather, the C3 Pluriel’s chameleon-like ability to adapt from a supermini to a cabriolet and then into a pick-uptruly makes it a car for all seasons.  Setting it apart from other more compact convertibles, the C3 Pluriel’s lay-out provides room for up to four adults as well as a generously-sized boot.

The full-length, electrically-operated sunroof can be slid back and, together with the rear screen, pivoted under the boot floor to let in the sunshine. The truly flexible design also allows for the roof arches to be removed, to treat passengers to the full ‘al fresco’ driving experience.  When it looks like the rain clouds are rolling in, the roof can be quickly and smoothly closed again to provide optimum protection against the elements.

C3 Pluriel Kiwi and Cote d’Azur models are equipped with a 75hp 1.4i petrol engine, with owners benefiting from a range of standard features that includes four electric windows, CD player, variable power-assisted steering and remote central locking with deadlocks.  The reinforced roof arches and windscreen pillars combine with four airbags and ABS with EBD and EBA to ensure that the C3 Pluriel is as safe to drive as it is fun to own.

The C3 Pluriel presents a very affordable opportunity to enjoy convertible driving in a practical and stylish vehicle and the Kiwi special edition is available for just £12,495, with the current special offer, which also sees the Cote d’Azur come in at £10,995
