Citroen C1

Citroen has announced that it is to hold a ‘supermini open weekend’ (8-10 July)* to celebrate the launch of the urban-chic C1. This special event could see visitors not only driving, but also surfing, gliding or mud plugging thanks to a superb free prize draw being offered to mark the occasion.

Surfing lessons, hot air ballooning and off-road tank driving are just some of the great Red Letter Day experiences up for grabs at Citroen dealers across the country as the ‘supermini open weekend’ hits town, giving customers the chance to check out what is possibly the widest range of small cars offered by any manufacturer in the UK.

The launch of the C1, ideal for buyers on a budget who live in town, ensures that there really is a Citroen supermini to suit all tastes, with four very different and great value models - the New C1 joins the sporty looking, three-door C2, the larger, five-seat C3 and the unique C3 Pluriel convertible.

Launched this June, the cute and curvy C1 city car is small in appearance, but big on character. Offering modern attractive styling and grown-up car safety features, the C1 is perfect for life around town, yet remains extremely affordable and inexpensive to run.

Now available from just £5995, the C2 is the ultimate urban-sports hatchback. Its stylish exterior and interior looks are particularly appealing to younger buyers, whilst its competitive pricing and generous equipment levels help to make it a major contender in the 3-door supermini market.

The curvy C3, which has just been named most secure city car / supermini in the 2005 British Insurance Car Security Awards, combines chic styling with a more spacious feel and innovative, big car technology. With prices starting from £6,995, including the July cashback offer, the well-equipped C3 is a perfect addition to any family.

Rounding off the range, the innovative and adaptable Citroen C3 Pluriel is perfect for the summer months. Combining all the practicality of a 4-seater supermini with all the fun of a convertible the funky C3 Pluriel is eye-catching and attractive in each of its different body configurations.

* Participating dealers only. 8-9 July only in Northern Ireland.
