Tom Lander, Operations Director of the Yeomans Group, has been elected as the new Chairman of Citroen's National Dealer Council.
A key liaison role between Citroen UK and its dealer network, Tom has been appointed Chairman after seven years service as Vice-Chairman. With over 21 years experience in the Citroen franchise, Tom will continue to spearhead all matters involving the network, including new model launches and improving customer service and satisfaction levels.
He commented; "I am delighted to be taking over the role of Chairman of the National Dealer Council. I'm looking forward to the challenges ahead as we complete the roll-out of the new Citroen corporate identity across the network and the arrival of new, exciting and innovative models that will increase sales and further improve dealer profitability.
"The Citroen brand is changing," Lander continues, "and I am looking forward to working with Citroen to ensure our network is strong and healthy, with a reputation for delivering high levels of customer satisfaction and service."
Linda Jackson, Citroen UK's Managing Director, thanked outgoing Chairman John Miskin; "We are extremely indebted to John for his tireless and unstinting work in representing the dealer network during some of the most challenging and demanding periods in the automotive industry. The fact that the network is now looking forward to a successful and rewarding future with Citroen is, in no small measure, due to John's skill and hard work.
"We are very fortunate to have someone as well respected as Tom Lander to work with as we create the next chapter in our exciting history."Published 7 March 2011
