Chrysler Crossfire

The Crossfire's striking exterior looks incorporate subtle touches from the unmistakable PT Cruiser styling. The dramatic central spine which runs from the front bumper, via the grille, bonnet, roofline and tailgate into the rear bumper - is the Crossfire's signature statement and coupled to the long ribbed bonnet and sculptured rear wings the design works to great effect.

The rear spoiler is powered by an electric motor which deploys automatically in less than 5 seconds as the cars speed rises above 60mph - it can also be deployed manually at any speed at the touch of a button.

The interior styling of the two seater Crossfire is simple yet functional as you would expect of a DaimlerChrysler product. The cabin is large enough to accommodate two adults with generous head and leg room although lateral space is a bit tight. Heated leather seats are standard and incorporate electric adjustment. The centre console, transmission tunnel, steering wheel spokes, door sill plates, door pull handles, speaker grille rings and instrument surrounds are enhanced with a satin silver finish This Silver coloured plastic did feel cheap and we would have preferred a more durable chrome or aluminium finish.
