Chrysler Launches Startech Accessories For Crossfire In UK

For Crossfire enthusiasts driving the standard 3.2 V6, a range of STARTECH accessories for both the Roadster and Coupe will be available in Chrysler dealers in the UK from mid-October.
The STARTECH Crossfire accessories line-up includes aerodynamic front chin spoiler, chrome mirror covers, chrome grille and chrome side vent fins, custom multi-piece STARTECH Monostar light-alloy wheels and STARTECH stainless-steel sport exhaust systems. Lift on the rear axle is minimised by the STARTECH diffuser inserts for the stock rear bumper and the STARTECH rear spoiler, which deploys together with the stock rear spoiler.
Exclusive interior accessories include ergonomically shaped sport steering wheels with airbag, polished stainless-steel sill plates with illuminated STARTECH logo, silver carbon-fibre interior and STARTECH leather and aluminium gearshift and hand brake handles.
The prototype Crossfire 3.8S features a 300 bhp 3.8-litre V6 engine, boasting 395 Nm of torque at 3800 rpm and capable of 0-62 mph in 5.9 seconds and an electronically limited top speed of 155 mph.
Standard features on the prototype Crossfire 3.8S include 19" front and 20" rear STARTECH alloy wheels, sports suspension, stainless-steel sports exhaust, chrome mirror covers, chrome grille and chrome side vent fins, front chin spoiler, rear wing spoiler and rear diffuser. Inside, the 3.8S boasts STARTECH speedometer, leather and silver carbon-fibre interior, sports steering wheel, polished stainless-steel sill plates with illuminated STARTECH logo and STARTECH leather and aluminium gearshift and hand brake handles.
Simon Elliott, Managing Director of Chrysler Group in the UK, said: "The STARTECH accessories will make an already good-looking car even more attractive, while the performance accessories mean driving enthusiasts can make even more of their Crossfire.
"At the same time as developing the range of accessories for the Crossfire, STARTECH has been looking at engine and performance opportunities across the Chrysler range. We have been lucky to get our hands on the prototype Crossfire 3.8S as STARTECH asked us to test the 3.8S on British roads, and evaluate its performance."
STARTECH accessories for the Crossfire will be available from all UK dealers from mid-October. Customers will be able to order their new 3.2V6 Crossfire Coupe or Roadster with the new parts already fitted or can retro-fit them to existing vehicles. Pricing for these items has not yet been confirmed.
