The New Daewoo Nubira

The New Nubira

A stylish new compact saloon that’s exceptional value

The new Daewoo Nubira saloon, GM Daewoo’s second all-new car since it was formed in October 2002, reaches UK showrooms on 31 July 2003. A two-model range, Nubira offers wide-ranging comfort and safety features, high levels of specification and exceptional value for money in a compact, elegant and stylish design. The 1.6 SX model is priced at just £10,995 and the 1.8 CDX flagship at £11,995. A four-speed automatic is optional with the 1.8 litre engine priced at £875.

A refreshing alternative in a crowded sector

Packaged with Daewoo’s industry leading three-year customer care Peace of Mind programme of free service, warranty and AA recovery, Nubira is a refreshing alternative in a crowded sector. The newcomer’s clean-cut lines were styled by the renowned Italian specialists Pininfarina and this front-wheel drive compact family saloon is new from the ground up, developed with safety and comfort as its key design features. Nubira will enter GM Daewoo’s UK showrooms with a choice of either a 1.6 (109 Ps) or 1.8-litre (122 Ps) engine and complements the already strong line up of Matiz, Kalos and Tacuma.

Comprehensive standard equipment

The Nubira is comprehensively-equipped, even in the entry-level 1.6 SX version. It includes front and side airbags for driver and passenger, air conditioning, alloy wheels, power windows all round, remote control central locking, a remote release for the boot, height-adjustable driver's seat, adjustable steering wheel angle, electrically operated door mirrors, six-speaker audio system and leather covered steering wheel and gear knob – and even a cooled section in the glove box.

Above the 1.6 SX is the flagship 1.8 CDX, which has automatic interior climate control, traction control, rain-sensing wipers, reach adjustment for the steering column, 16" alloy wheels with 205/45R16 tyres and front fog lamps.
