Cool looks and even cooler interior

The elegance of its Granada black paint, unique to Flirt, and dark windows is highlighted by high power silver 13" alloy wheels and chrome exhaust tailpipe. The interior is equally attractive with black leather/grey alcantara trim, accented by a leather covered steering wheel and gear lever gaiter, and aluminium-effect finishers for consoles and door handles. Its cool look is more than just skin deep as Flirt comes with air conditioning as standard, a single CD player, front fog lights and ABS.

Matiz is a best seller in its sector and is one of the most practical cars for getting around in town or city. But Flirt is no slouch, available only with the 1.0 litre 64 PS engine for that performance edge on out of town journeys, it can accelerate to 62 mph in 12.9 seconds and run on to a maximum of 94 mph. Better still it returns over 50 miles per gallon on the extra-urban cycle.

Matiz and Chemistry

Matiz Flirt is also featuring in Chemistry, the UK’s largest live dating events programme, in a unique promotional initiative to highlight the launch of the car.

The events, called ‘Daewoo Dates’ to be held throughout the month of May in seven of the UK’s largest cities, will feature both the Matiz Flirt and Daewoo’s new Lacetti which will be used to shuttle ticket holders between main train and bus stations to the venue and will be used as a ‘prop’ in a novel approach to the popular ‘speed dating’ workshops at the events. The vehicles will also feature in Chemistry’s promotional ‘hit squads’ who take to the streets in towns prior to the event.
