Daewoo’s family MPV Tacuma is now better value than ever before thanks to a new sales campaign running at GM Daewoo retailers until 31 March.
A £1000 saving is now available on the Tacuma SE, bringing this spacious 5-seat family MPV down to just £9995 on the road. And it doesn’t end there as every Tacuma comes with Daewoo’s unbeatable Peace of Mind package of three-years’ free servicing, three-year warranty and three-years’ of AA roadside assistance. The package also includes a free Institute of Advanced Motorists driving course.
Since Tacuma was launched it has established itself in the family MPV market and is challenging rivals from some of the major manufacturers. In true Daewoo tradition, the Tacuma SE is extensively equipped. Standard features on this model include twin airbags, power-assisted steering, ABS, front electric windows, adjustable driver’s seat with foldable armrest and three individual rear seats – the centre seat is folding, sliding (for additional shoulder room with three rear seat passengers) and removable and features a built in picnic table when folded. Other convenience features include central door locking with alarm/immobiliser, RDS radio/cassette, height adjustable seat belts (with front seat pre-tensioners) and electrically adjustable/heated door mirrors.
Tacuma is also strong on performance with the SE powered by a 1.6 litre 4-cylinder engine developing 106PS. It reaches 62mph in 11.8 seconds, goes on to a top speed of 103mph and achieves 42.2 mpg on the extra-urban cycle.Published 20 January 2003
