GM Daewoo has named Aird Motors in Inverness as its appointed retailer covering Inverness and the Highland region.
Aird Motors will offer the full range of Daewoo products including the brand new family five-door hatchback, Kalos; the Matiz five-door city car and the family sized MPV, Tacuma. All Daewoo products come with the company’s outstanding Peace of Mind package of 3-years/60,000 miles free servicing, 3-year/60,000 mile warranty and 3 years total AA roadside cover. There’s even a free Institute of Advanced Motorists Driving Course with every car purchased.
Aird Motors is selling Daewoo cars from its Longman Drive premises and is already planning a new Daewoo showroom and service facilities at this site. The company will also sell high quality used cars as well as catering for service, parts and warranty work, the latter being currently carried out at its operation in High Street, Beauly. The fully equipped workshop is manned by technicians with a specialist knowledge of Daewoo’s range of vehicles.
David Tuach, Managing Director of Aird Motors, said: "It is a tremendous coup for us to be appointed as a franchise which has so much potential. It has a very attractive range of cars both at present and in the pipeline, all carrying 3 years warranty and free servicing. Daewoo is now a member of the General Motors family which includes Vauxhall, Opel, Chevrolet and Saab and with the already high tech knowledge that Daewoo demonstrates in the Far East, we can’t go wrong."
"We very much welcome Aird Motors as GM Daewoo representatives in Inverness," commented David Stubbs, newly appointed Director of Sales at GM Daewoo UK. "This area of northern Scotland is a large and important territory for GM Daewoo and we are sure that Aird Motors will provide their new and existing Daewoo customers with the first class service that has become a hallmark of Daewoo ownership."
Aird Motors can be found at 7 Longman Drive, Inverness, IV1 1SU, telephone 01463 226611.
