New Daewoo Retailer Opens In West Yorkshire

As GM Daewoo UK celebrates its first year in business, a new retailer has opened its doors to Daewoo customers in West Yorkshire – JCT 600 of Salts Mill Road, Shipley. GM Daewoo UK is part of the GM (General Motors) family and currently has over 80 retailers in operation across the UK, building to around 110 by the end of June 2004. The new JCT 600 showroom has space to display the whole Daewoo range with a number of used cars on show externally and ample customer parking. Importantly, they have service and parts operations supporting new and existing Daewoo models and their customers.

JCT 600 will offer the full range of Daewoo products including the Matiz five-door city car, the Kalos five-door supermini, the brand new Nubira five-seat family saloon and the midi-MPV, Tacuma. All Daewoo products come with the company’s outstanding Peace of Mind package of 3-years/60,000 miles free servicing, 3-year/60,000 mile warranty and 3-years total AA roadside cover. There’s even a free Institute of Advanced Motorists Driving Course with every car purchased. Daewoo is a value brand and prices are very competitive. Matiz starts at just £5995 and Kalos at £6995 with equally keen pricing through the range. Specifications are also comprehensive across all models.

GM Daewoo director of marketing Rob Smettem said: ‘West Yorkshire was always very successful for Daewoo and therefore became a priority for us in the establishment of our new retail network. With the launch of JCT 600 comes a significant marketing programme designed both to re-establish Daewoo with existing customers and appeal to new. We invite them all to come and experience the new world of Daewoo.’
