GM Daewoo has named Wilson and Co as its appointed retailer covering the area around Immingham, Grimsby and Cleethorpes and bounded by the Humber estuary, Scunthorpe and Mablethorpe in North Lincolnshire. They commence trading immediately.
Wilson and Co will offer a full range of new Daewoo products including the new family five-door hatchback, Kalos; the Matiz five-door city car and the family sized MPV, Tacuma. All Daewoo products come with the company’s outstanding Peace of Mind package of 3-years/60,000 miles free servicing, 3-year/60,000 mile warranty and 3-years total AA roadside cover. There’s even a free Institute of Advanced Motorists Driving Course with every car purchased.
Wilson and Co’s showroom has space to display up to six new cars with 20 used cars on show externally. There are 3 work bays in the service area, which is manned by technicians with specialist knowledge of Daewoo’s range of vehicles. In addition, there is ample customer parking on site. The company will also sell high quality used cars as well as catering for service, parts and warranty work.
Robin Wilson, Managing Director of Wilson and Co, said: "We are delighted to be opening our new Daewoo showroom in Immingham which will complement our existing Vauxhall business there. Daewoo has a very attractive range of cars both at present and in the pipeline, all carrying 3 years warranty and free servicing. Daewoo is now a member of the General Motors family and GM is the world’s largest motor manufacturer. Add that to the already high tech knowledge that Daewoo demonstrates in the Far East and I’m sure that we will have a very successful future."
"We very much welcome Wilson and Co as GM Daewoo representatives in North Lincolnshire," commented David Stubbs, Director of Sales at GM Daewoo UK. "This area of eastern England is a large and important territory for GM Daewoo and we are sure that they will provide their new and existing Daewoo customers with the first class service that has become a hallmark of Daewoo ownership."
