Kalos Sport - sporting style and chassis dynamics but affordable

Also on display in the ‘Sport Zone’ is the new Kalos Sport. Following on from the successful introduction of the 1.4 litre, 16 valve Kalos Blue in the spring of 2003, the Kalos Sport features the same technical specification, body styling kit, lowered suspension, unique alloy wheels and sports exhaust but is now available in three body colours. The Kalos Sport on display is finished in Pearl Black mica and features a black leather/Alcantara interior trim set and dark tinted glass, both features that are being considered for optional availability on Kalos for 2005 model year. Kalos Sport will replace Kalos Blue and will be available in Daewoo showrooms in October. It is expected to be priced the same as Kalos Blue (to be confirmed). Poly Silver and Super Red will be available as alternative body colours.

Matiz Flirt - the cool car to fall in love with

Last but by no means least in the ‘Sports Zone’ is Matiz Flirt, a cheeky little number. With its unique black finish and dark tint glass, Matiz Flirt is a very special, Special Edition. Daewoo’s successful city car takes a step up-market in this new edition with its mini-limousine looks and cool air-conditioned leather interior – and all for just £7,995.

The Daewoo ‘Xtra Cool Zone’
spring into summer with air conditioning as standard

With summer almost here, Daewoo is introducing a special range of Xtra Cool cars each equipped with air-conditioning as standard, along with a number of additional practical features. The ‘Xtra Cool Zone’ displays an Xtra Cool model from each of the Matiz, Kalos, Nubira and Tacuma ranges with Matiz Xtra Cool becoming the least expensive car in Britain with air-conditioning featured as standard, for just £6,495 on the road.

All four cars are finished in Poly Silver and stand on a bed of ‘ice’, signifying their cool image.

NCH - Daewoo raises funding on its stand for this worthwhile cause

GM Daewoo has chosen to sponsor NCH – the children’s charity, for 2004. On public days at the show, visitors will be able to take a cooling drink of Daewoo-blue tropical ice in exchange for a donation to this worthwhile charity. NCH runs over 500 projects across the UK, working with over 100,000 vulnerable children, young people and their families who need it the most. It is the largest national provider of services to disabled children and their families, of neighbourhood and family community centres and of services for young people leaving care.
