Daewoo At Motor Show Live 2004

Daewoo Lacetti 1.6 SX

GM Daewoo comes to its second motor show with the UK debut of two new products and a host of new derivatives across the range. The stand is designed in three zones – ‘Lacetti Zone’ themed in Sports Blue, ‘Sports Zone’ themed in Pearl Black and the ‘Xtra Cool Zone’ themed in Poly Silver. Each zone features related products.

Lacetti Sport and Station Wagon - show debuts

Since its formation in October 2002, GM Daewoo has led a major new product drive with four all-new models and a number of new engine variants introduced across the range including the Kalos five-door hatch, Nubira saloon, Lacetti family hatch and derivatives such as 1.0 litre Matiz and Kalos Blue. For this year’s Motor Show Live, Lacetti Sport and the new Daewoo Station Wagon are the highlights of the stand and make their UK debut at Motor Show Live. These exciting and stylish new products are complemented by a range of new Xtra Cool models all equipped with air-conditioning as standard and a new Kalos Sport.

The Daewoo ‘Lacetti Zone’

Lacetti is the centrepiece of the ‘Lacetti Zone’ display with a new Lacetti Sport as the feature car on the turntable. Finished in Sports Blue, the new Lacetti Sport is the range flagship and its sporty cues add further elegance to an already acclaimed style from the pen of famous Italian designer, Giugiaro. Lacetti Sport will be available in Daewoo showrooms in October priced at around £12,000 (to be confirmed). The Sport is flanked on the stand by Lacetti 1.4SE and 1.6SX derivatives both finished in Sports Blue. A Poly Silver Lacetti 1.6SX completes the Lacetti display around the turntable with a further Pearl Black Lacetti Sport displayed in the ‘Sport Zone’.

Station Wagon - compact wagon at small wagon price

The ‘Sport Zone’ introduces a theme of Pearl Black cars with sporting design cues – Kalos Sport, Lacetti Sport, Station Wagon and Matiz Flirt. Centrepiece of this display is the new Daewoo Station Wagon. This all new 1.6SX model is displayed in Pearl Black mica and features 16" alloy wheels from Lacetti Sport, lowered suspension and dark-tint windows, items that are being considered for a possible future sports derivative of this practical new Station Wagon. The new Daewoo Station Wagon 1.6SX will be available in the showrooms in October with prices and full specification to be announced later.
