This year, Chevrolet turns 100, and in celebration, Chevrolet UK is backing an evening celebration at Ace Cafe, on London's North Circular Road.

The cafe,at Ace Corner, Stonebridge, North-West London, is world-renowned as a meeting place for car fans and motorcyclists, holding a monthly all-American 'Cruise-in' where owners of cars from the USA are invited along to the Ace's famous car park.

The late summer Cruise-in will take place on the evening of 27th August, with Chevrolet marking the celebration event with a top secret live music act, as well as the unveiling of a very special one-off car and a display of new and old Chevrolets outside the cafe.

Chevrolet UK managing director, Mark Terry, said: "The Chevrolet night at the Ace promises to be tremendous fun. Not only is it the perfect forum in which to celebrate our 100 years, surrounded by American cars of all eras, but it's also a great venue that has become synonymous with enthusiasm for all things automotive. I can't reveal yet what the mystery car or band will be, but I will tell you that both are icons of American culture, and are a great way of marking our first century."

Cruise-in guests will be arriving at Ace Cafe from late afternoon, will a special focus for owners of the Chevrolet Corvette.

The Chevrolet live act starts at 9pm, with a DJ both before and after the main event.
