The Seven 160 is powered by a 660 cc engine...
The Caterham Seven 160 is going into production as possibly the most cost-effective two-seater sport scar on the market. It costs £17,995 on the road but you can save some money if you have the time and build it yourself, with the kit starting at £14,995.
The Seven 160 is powered by an 80hp 660 cc turbocharged three-cylinder Suzuki petrol engine which is capable of a top speed of 100 mph and will reach 0-62 mph in 6.5 seconds. This sounds like the prefect proposition for UK roads.
Fuel economy of the combined cycle is 57.6 mpg and CO2 emissions are 114 g/m, so VED is currently £30 per annum.
Caterham Cars’ Chief Commercial Officer, David Ridley, said: “The 160 adds something truly different to the existing Seven range, whilst staying true to our core values of simplicity and purity.Published 22 January 2014
