Ricardo Chosen By Bugatti As Engineering Partner For New Veyron

Ricardo was chosen by Bugatti as their engineering partner for the complete transmission and driveline system for their new Veyron super car.

The company’s involvement in this project goes back to 2000 with the development of initial concepts including the building of a technology demonstrator.

In addition to the mechanical system design, Ricardo are also responsible for the design and development of the complex mechatronic system which controls the 7-speed Dual Clutch Transmission, as well as all the active 4WD driveline units including all new algorithm and software development and control unit design.
