The 5 Series also won Best Used Executive Car in the annual awards by beating rivals Jaguar S-Type, Audi A6 and the Mercedes E Class. It was marked highly for fitness for purpose, value for money, running costs, reliability, residual value and image.
Likewise the BMW 7 Series beat the Mercedes S Class, Jaguar XJ8 and the Audi A8 to win the Best Used Luxury Car category.
