BMW 5 Series Takes Top Honours In Used Car Of The Year Awards

The BMW 5 Series has been voted the best overall Used Car of the Year 2003, by Used Car Buyer magazine's panel of 13 motoring journalists and industry experts.

The 5 Series also won Best Used Executive Car in the annual awards by beating rivals Jaguar S-Type, Audi A6 and the Mercedes E Class. It was marked highly for fitness for purpose, value for money, running costs, reliability, residual value and image.

Likewise the BMW 7 Series beat the Mercedes S Class, Jaguar XJ8 and the Audi A8 to win the Best Used Luxury Car category.

Buying an Approved Used BMW:

The introduction of the new BMW Approved Used Car internet search has made locating a used BMW even easier. With the ability to search by model and body-style and then in more detail by age, price colour, fuel and transmission type, customers are even able to state how far they are willing to travel to view a car.

Once a car has been selected, customers can then view three photos of the actual car for sale rather than a generic image of the model. A screen showing the car's standard and additional equipment as well as technical detail can also be viewed, plus a link through to independent road test reviews is provided.

If a customer is unable to locate their desired car they can select to be notified automatically by email when the car they have specified arrives into stock at a BMW dealership.
