New BMW 3 Series Prices confirmed

BMW Great Britain has announced prices for the forthcoming new 3 Series Saloon models. With finely honed on-road dynamics, new engine technology, heightened levels of active and passive safety, increased levels of standard specification and more space for occupants, the new 3 Series will reset the benchmark in the Compact Executive class when it is launched in March 2005.

On the road pricing for all models is as follows:

320i 320iES 320iSE 320d 320dES 320dSE 325iSE 330iSE
£21,090 £21,560 £22,590 £22,890 £23,360 £24,390 £25,155 £28,455

Three engine variants will be available at launch. The four-cylinder 320i will initially be the entry-level model alongside the four-cylinder diesel 320d - the UK’s most popular 3 Series variant. The range will be topped by the 330i, the second car in BMW’s range to benefit from a lightweight magnesium-alloy engine (following the 630i, launched in early 2005). The range will be further strengthened with the arrival of the six-cylinder magnesium-alloy engined 325i in March 2005.

Standard specification on all cars includes an on-board computer, front centre armrest, rear electric windows and CD player. Owners opting for the successful ES model will additionally receive 16-inch alloy wheels, fog lamps and body coloured door handles. SE models will also be available from launch in the UK, equipped with automatic air conditioning, multi-function steering wheel, rear Park Distance Control, cruise control and an interior lighting package over and above the standard car.

Further information on optional equipment and technical specifications will be available nearer the launch.
