The new BMW 520d EfficientDynamics Saloon has been awarded with the Next Greencar Executive Car award in the 2011 Next Greencar awards.

Having beaten competition from the likes of Audi and Volvo, the BMW 520d EfficientDynamics Saloon received praise for its performance and delivering 62.8mpg and 119g/km CO2 emissions.

Next Greencar said: "As BMW's greenest 5 Series, the 520d EfficientDynamics Saloon continues to reign supreme in the executive class, combining low emissions with an impressive drive."
