BMW 1 series
How It Looks - Interior
The BMW 1 Series' interior is a minimalist's dream, simple, uncluttered and functional.
Our test car was equipped with Boston leather (£1,020 option) which was of an excellent quality and well crafted. Complementing the seating and interior panel materials are trim strips on the dashboard, door closing handles, centre console, door handles and the ring around the starter button finished in a titanium-coloured matt finish.
In Car Entertainment and Satellite Navigation
BMW Business RDS Radio with single slot CD player, with additional audio controls on the steering wheel and socket to plug in your ipod or mp3 player. Standard cars are fitted with six speakers - our test car had the additional Hi-Fi loudspeaker system (£355 option ) which boasts four mid-range speakers (4x25 watts), four tweeters (4x25 watts) and two woofers located underneath the front seats (2x40 watts). Overall the system was impressive, although you need to spend another £280 for the six disc CD auto changer.
