With retail sales of 10,014 units worldwide, Bentley has completed the best year in its history. Overall volume grew by 7, with increases in almost all major markets: +7 in the UK, +4 in North America, +7 in Europe, +18 in the Asia Pacific region, and +93 in China alone. For the second consecutive year, Bentley Motors has been proud to sponsor the Award for the Best Mechanical Engineering Student at The Science, Engineering & Technology Student of the Year Awards, held in London last night. Bentley’s Member of the Board - Engineering, Dr Ulrich Eichhorn, presented the award – which carries £15,000-worth of sponsorship – to Chris Lamming from University of Bath (pictured) for his paper on Analysis and Computation of Regularly-spaced Localised Buckles in Pipelines. the full story
