The exciting Deutsche Tourenwagen Masters roars in to Donington Park, Leicestershire, on Sunday (27 July) allowing British race fans the rare opportunity of seeing Abt Sportsline’s dramatically styled Audi TT in action.

For the first time in its history, Abt Sportsline defends the DTM title this year after Frenchman Laurent Aiello captured the prestigious "crown" in an Audi TT-R.

Abt’s squad of Aiello, Christian Abt, Mattias Ekström, Martin Tomczyk, Karl Wendlinger and Peter Terting form a formidable line-up for the annual British event.

The spectacular Audi’s are powered by a four-litre, V8 engine producing over 450bhp. In last year’s corresponding Donington race, Christian Abt came through from the back of the grid to finish second.

Aiello remarked: "I’m really excited about driving in England again. Although I became the 1999 champion there I won neither of the races at Donington - perhaps I can make up this weekend. In 1999, I had an unbelievable number of UK fans and I’m looking forward to seeing them again."
