Audi A6 Saloon

Tax-beating engines and new standard transmissions for revised Audi A6 executive saloon and Avant ranges
  • EU4 compliance for 2.5 TDI (163PS) and 2.5 TDI (180PS) diesel engines, eliminating 3% tax premium for company car drivers
  • EU4 brings potential tax saving of £2,500 for A6 2.5 TDI buyers
  • Leather upholstery now standard for every A6 saloon and Avant model
  • Automatic transmission now standard for all V6 petrol and V6 TDI A6 models
  • New run flat tyre technology now available for A6
Vorsprung durch Technik has come to the fore yet again in the latest Audi A6 range, which through the application of advanced new TDI technology has become the World's first in the executive class to feature tax-beating EU4 compliant diesel engines. Available to order now, the revised range is not only more efficient, but also provides more standard equipment across the board, and a more relaxed drive thanks to standard automatic transmission for all six-cylinder petrol and TDI versions.

More luxury as standard

All A6 saloon and Avant models ordered now will offer, as standard, the luxury of Buffalino leather upholstery - previously an optional extra costing £1,365.

V6 petrol and V6 TDI models are also now equipped as standard with automatic transmission - five-speed tiptronic for the 3.0 quattro and 2.5 TDI quattro (180PS) and six-speed multitronic continuously variable (CVT) for the 2.4 petrol and 2.5 TDI (163PS). The much praised and still unique multitronic transmission has just been upgraded to include a Sport mode that holds each of the six pre-set gear ratios for longer under acceleration to maximise performance. Manual transmission will continue to be available as a no cost option for four and six-cylinder models.
