Audi Q3 (2012)

The Audi Q3 has scored five-stars in the latest Euro NCAP (New Car Assessment Programme) tests and is now officially the best in class compact SUV.

The Q3 was assessed for adult occupant protection in a frontal or side collision, child safety and pedestrian protection – and came out on top.

The Audi Q3 scored 94% Adult Occupancy, 85% Child Occupancy, 52% Pedestrian Protection and 86% Safety Assist which when compared to Jeep’s Compass  two-star award  (61% Adult Occupancy, 76% Child Occupancy, 23% Pedestrian Protection and 43% Safety Assist), you can see why it is top of its class.

You can specify a number of active safety options such as the Audi side assist system which is designed to protect your blind-spots from approaching traffic. Or Active lane assist that checks that you are not drifting out of lane and there is even a clever system that can read speed limit signs and relay the information back to the driver.
