The Aston Martin V12 Vantage S has gone on sale priced from £138,000.

The V12 Vantage S is the fastest accelerating main-stream production Aston to date with 0-62 mph taking 3.9 seconds – yes the One-77 and some limited production models were quicker.

Partially developed at the Nurburgring circuit it features three-stage adaptive damping allowing the driver to match the car’s dynamics to their own taste and conditions – there are ‘Normal’, ‘Sport’ and ‘Track’ that control the level of power steering assistance, damping, throttle response, gearshift speed and timing, and exhaust note.

Aston Martin V12 Vantage S Engine

The V12 Vantage S is powered by a 6.0-lite engine developing 573PS and with 620Nm of torque available from 5,750 rpm. Even at 1,000 rpm it is producing 510Nm which helps propel the Vantage from 0-62 mph in 3.9 seconds and then on to a top speed of 205 mph. Power is driven to the rear-wheels via Sportshift™III AMT (automated manual transmission) gearbox.
