New Team Means Business

Led by managing director Glyn Owen, Alfa Romeo (UK)’s new autonomous business unit structure is designed to be responsive, flexible, accountable and customer-focused, and its new management team has the accumulated experience necessary for success.
Glyn Owen’s previous roles involved a three-year stint as managing director of Fiat Auto (Denmark), prior to which he was commercial director of Fiat Auto (UK). Sales director Jeff Culkin’s previous appointment was as marketing director of Fiat Auto (Ireland) in Dublin, and Nigel Best was formerly head of sales and marketing, Fiat Auto Contracts. Kevin Jones’ previous role was as business management manager, Fiat Auto (UK), and the company’s latest appointee, 33-year old Robert Frost, who started with Alfa Romeo (UK) last week, was formerly brand manager, Lexus (GB) Ltd.
Commenting on the new team and Alfa Romeo (UK)’s business unit structure, Glyn Owen remarks: "From now on, Alfa Romeo has the organisation that the brand deserves, focused and dedicated to achieving improvement in Alfa Romeo’s volume, brand image and customer satisfaction.
"In addition to the management, and just as important, are the
other 15 members of the Alfa Romeo team, both at our headquarters in Slough
and out in the ‘field’. We now need to work even closer with
our dealer network to ensure the future success of Alfa Romeo in the UK."
