The Giulietta Sprint goes on sale early 2015 to commemorate the 60th anniversary of the 1954 original.
The new Giulietta Sprint will go on sale priced from £20,490 and will be powered by Alfa’s 1.4-litre TB MultiAir petrol engine which produces 150hp /250Nm which equates to a 0-62 mph time of 8.2 seconds and a top speed of 130 mph. On the combined cycle according to NEDC data it is capable of 49.6 mpg with CO2 emissions of 131 g/km.
Standard equipment comprises bespoke Sprint detailing and badging, carbon-effect door panels and dashboard surround; a sports, leather-wrapped steering wheel with red stitching and new seats with cloth and Alcantara-upholstery with red stitching.
On the outside there are LED Daytime Running Lights and LED rear light clusters. There are 17-inch five-hole design alloy wheels; sports rear bumper side skirts and dark-tinted windows.
The Uconnect five-inch touchscreen is standard with DAB radio tuner and six speakers.
Safety equipment includes six airbags, VDC (ABS + ASR + EBD + EBA) + Hill Holder, TPMS and Electronic Q2 differential, all protected with remote central locking with deadlocks, immobiliser and alarm.
Option highlights include Bi-Xenon Headlamps with Washers at £930 and Uconnect 6.5-inch colour touchscreen infotainment system with satellite navigation for an additional £1,050 and a BOSE ten-speaker Hi-Fi system at £820.Published 20 December 2014
