The new Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio is being debuted at the Frankfurt Motor Show, which starts this week.
The new rear wheel drive Giulia Quadrifoglio will go on sale in the UK in the autumn of 2016 with prices yet to be confirmed but it is expected to be around £55,000. It will joined by the rest of the Giulia line-up that will feature lower powered models.
It will directly compete against the Audi RS4 and BMW M3 but they might need to up the game to displace the Giulia Quadrifoglio. With power coming from a Ferrari inspired all-aluminium 2.9-litre turbo petrol V6 engine which outputs 510 hp / 600 Nm. It capable of 0-62 mph in 3.9 seconds and then on to a top speed on 191 mph. CO2 emissions are recorded at 198 g/km with a combined fuel figure of around 35 mpg.
The Giulia will feature a Chassis Domain Control (CDC) system which takes care of keep everything under control including Torque Vectoring, Active Aero Splitter, active suspension, brakes, steering and the ESC system. And there are four driving modes, Dynamic, Natural, Advanced Efficiency and a Race mode on high performance versions
The Giulia Quadrifoglio will be available in Competizione Red, Trofeo White, Vulcano Black, Vesuvio Grey and Montecarlo Blue.Published 15 September 2015
