The Alfa Romeo 4C Spider has gone on sale priced from £59,500.
As with the 4C Coupe the Spider is built on a carbon fibre monocoque, additionally there is an aluminium rollover protection system which is hidden within the carbon fibre windscreen frame. The rear features buttresses to support the Spider's profile and there is a rear spoiler.
Unlike the coupe it comes with xenon headlights as standard.

Initially the Spider will come with a cloth roof with the option of a carbon fibre roof, towards the end of 2015. Alfa are also introducing later in the year premium leather options with matching door cards.
There are a number of new wheels choices on the options list, along with a carbon fibre air intake system. The audio offering is enhanced with a new Alpine head unit coupled to Alfa's Hi-Fi sound system.
In addition to the upgraded audio system the Alfa Romeo 4C Spider comes with luxury floor mats; glove compartment with leather cover; bespoke car cover and car care kit. Parking sensors and cruise control are no cost options.Published 12 May 2015
