At the 2011 Goodwood Festival of Speed (1st - 3rd July 2011), the occassion will be marked by hosting the UK public debut of the latest evolution of Alfa Romeo's design and technology, the mid-engined two seater, rear wheel drive Alfa 4C Concept.

Alfa Romeo will this month, celebrate 101 years of motoring, and at the 2011 Goodwood Festival of Speed (1st - 3rd July 2011), the occasion will be marked by hosting the UK public debut of the latest evolution of Alfa Romeo's design and technology, the mid-engined two seater, rear wheel drive Alfa 4C Concept.

Materials used include carbon fibre and aluminium, which in conjunction with a 200bhp 1750 TBi 4 cylinder petrol engine produce a power-to-weight ratio lower than 4kg per bhp, a top speed of 155mph and a 0-62mph time of under 5 seconds.

The Alfa 4C Concept will be joined by the updated Alfa Romeo MiTo Quadrifoglio Verde- also on its UK debut, the Alfa Romeo Giulietta Cloverleaf and the Alfa Romeo 159 Sportwagon.

Alfa Romeo will also celebrate its future and embrace its past, by showcasing five iconic cars from the Alfa Romeo museum collection in Italy, including Fangio's Alfa 6C 3000CM, which alongside the Alfetta 159, will celebrate the 60th anniversary of Fangio’s historic 1951 Formula One World Championship title, as well as the Alfa 6C 1750GS, Alfa 750 Competizione and the Alfa 33 TT 12.

Festival spectators will be able to see the cars in action during the three day event and on display in the Cathedral Paddock area.
